Love the bitter gourd (goya champuru) ! The bitter gourd full with Wok Hey which I did not expect to have it in a Japanese restaurant. Must try their KUSHIYAKI menu recommended item it will never go wrong.

This is already my fourth visit to this restaurant, and every time has been a wonderful dining experience. This time, my wife and I had the fried rice — every grain was perfectly separated, full of “wok hei” and packed with flavor. We also ordered a small hotpot, and the pork and vegetables were very fresh. Adding a pasteurized egg made it even more delicious. The skewers were grilled just right, crispy on the outside and juicy inside — truly satisfying. The staff here are always polite and attentive. The prices are mid-range, and I’d say the overall value for money is excellent. We had a wonderful dinner here at IOI City Mall outlet to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The staff were very friendly, food was delicious and waiting time was minimal. In the meantime, we found out that we can redeem a Double Fromage Cheese Cake on guest’s birthday. Upon confirmation with a male junior waiter, he politely asked to check the IC and filled up the information in a device. He confirmed with us when we would like to be served the dessert as well. Based on my observation, he is also very attentive to customers which are looking at the menu intending to enter the restaurant. The floor manager is also friendly and patient when explaining to us about the point redemption reward. Overall, the ambience and cleanliness of this outlet is great. The menu is full of choices, I even joked with my son that it looked like a textbook !! I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family who enjoys good quality and affordable Japanese cuisine.

This is our first time here since they are newly open this outlet.. Impressed with the menu and restaurant's decorations..the foods we ordered were so good, the plating and price also affordable.. will come back here to try other menu.. highly recommended...

Saw this in another mall in KL previously but didn’t go in coz couldn’t find the yakitori pages on the menu, even though the restaurant name is for yakitori. Why would a restaurant named after Robatayaki not show its yakitori menu as the first few pages but buried towards the end. You start off seeing all the sashimi and usual Japanese fare before finally seeing 3 pages of sticks. We were hence hesitant but I would say we came away pleasantly surprised by the quality of the yakitori. Almost all the sticks we ordered tasted great. We ordered quite a number of the items on their menu to try for just 2 pax. Didn’t manage to take photos of everything since it went straight to the mouth when it arrived. Had it twice in a row. Would definitely be back again. Steven’s service was great as well.
